Guitar Lessons

I currently offer private guitar instruction for beginner to intermediate levels. I cover subjects such as music theory, picking & strumming techniques, reading musical notation & guitar tablature, care of the instrument and general musicianship.

Lessons are offered on Monday - Saturday at my retail store/studio, Ashland Guitar, in Ashland, Virginia. The store is located at 107-A Robinson Street across from the Richard S. Gillis Jr. Library off of Center Street. Lesson times are scheduled for one half hour sessions, once a week. Each lesson is tailored to the students own individual interests and can include musical styles such as popular, rock, country, jazz and blues.

Rental guitars are available, as well as a great selection of new and used acoustic & electric guitars and accessories, featuring the "Guitar Works" line of instruments.
